How it Works

Hard water enters the top of the tank and flows down through the mixed bed resin, where hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) are exchanged for sodium ions and dissolved impurities are removed.

The clean, softened water then flows up through the mid plate, which separates the resin from the underbedding, and out the top of the tank to your home.
